THE VIEW FROM FEZ: L'Amante du Rif -- A Film by Narjiss Nejjar
This 2011 film is based on a novel L'Amante du Rif by Noufissa Sbaï. This novel was published in 2004 in Paris in French with the support of the Moroccan Ministry of Culture. Barrie Wilson has written an interesting paper on the film. Barrie is Professor, Humanities and Religious Studies, York University, Toronto.
